The Kennickell Group

Committed to strength through innovation, The Kennickell Group designs and implements multi-channel market communication strategies and content distribution management programs that have become the benchmark from which all others are measured.

The combination of technology and strategy has enabled The Kennickell Group to achieve unequaled successes for Fortune 500 companies and many others. While we believe in the importance of technology, we also realize that equipment alone cannot attain high levels of success; rather it is the intellectual resources behind those machines that take ordinary marketing initiatives and make them extraordinary.

It’s no wonder that the Kennickell name has been synonymous with the printed word for almost 120 years.

ISO 9000 Certification

The Kennickell Group was the first printer in North America to achieve the international quality designation, ISO 9000 (1994). ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards.

ISO is a non-governmental organization that forms a bridge between the public and private sectors and establishes standards for a procedural approach to quality systems.

Forestry Stewardship Council

The Forest Stewardship Council was created to change the dialogue about and the practice of sustainable forestry worldwide. Each link in the chain of custody from the forest - paper mill - paper vendor - printer, must be certified thereby ensuring an unbroken chain tracing a printed product back to a sustainable forest. The FSC standards represent the world's strongest system for guiding forest management toward sustainable outcomes.

Sustainable Forestry Initiative

Voluntary third-party forest certification began in the 1990s in response to market concerns about forest management and illegal logging, primarily in developing countries. Today, SFI Inc. is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for maintaining, overseeing and improving a sustainable forestry certification program that is internationally recognized and among the largest in the world.

The SFI 2005-2009 Standard is based on principles and measures that promote sustainable forest management and consider all forest values. Like FSC, a chain of custody is required ensuring wood and printed paper products are traceable to a sustainable forest. It includes unique fiber sourcing requirements promoting responsible forest management on all suppliers' lands.

When the marketplace observes the SFI label or logo on a product, consumers can be confident they are buying wood or paper from responsible sources - whether it is reams of paper, packaging or two-by-fours.
